Rules Beginning March 2008
Other
than MVP STAFF and SCORING OFFICIALS, NO ONE is allowed inside the
score tower on race day. Unless you are called to the tower for
a specific reason PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE SCORE TOWER!!!
Other
than MVP STAFF
and PRE-APPROVED PHOTOGRAPHERS, FLAGGERS & WATERING CREW...
NO ONE is allowed past the start gate on the track on race days.
(Exception: Parents of 50cc riders may enter the track for their
riders event only)! Anyone that has to be reminded more than once
that they are not allowed on the track will be asked to leave the
facility. This is for YOUR SAFETY AND OURS!!!!

Motocross Rules & Track Information
---MVP
will require that all bikes and four-wheelers meet local noise ordinance
restrictions as mandated by the Franklin Co. zoning board. No bikes
allowed without a muffler. No exceptions.
---Riders
under 18 yrs. must have parent or legal guardian, or notarized release
to race.
---1st
gear only while riding outside the track or in the Pit Areas. STRICTLY
ENFORCED! If you have to be warned more than once
to slow down in the Pit Area, you will start your race backwards.
---Helmets
must be worn at all times when operating a bike or ATV both on the
tracks and in the pit areas. This includes parents! STRICTLY
ENFORCED! Riders or parents caught operating a bike
without a helmet will start their race backwards! All
Riders MUST have long sleeve shirt, boots, and helmet to participate
in any race at MVP. (Proper Riding Safety Gear). No riding in shorts
or short sleeve shirts allowed!
---MVP
does not provide insurance or sell insurance on site. All participants
must carry their own insurance and are responsible for their own
actions. Riders and spectators must assume their own risk.
Ride at your own risk and spectate at your own risk.
---Please
do not talk to the flaggers while a race is underway. If you have
any questions please come to the score tower or to registration
to voice your concerns.
---MVP
prohibits the sale and use of alcoholic beverages at the facility.
---Everyone
entering the park must stop at the registration desk and sign a
waiver, even if you are just watching. EVERYONE MUST STOP!
---AMA
Rules apply to ALL classes whether AMA recognized or not.
---ROLL
TO THE RIGHT, JUMP TO THE LEFT! If you plan to roll over a jump
and not actually "jump" it then stay to the RIGHT side
of that jump. If you do plan to jump then stay to the LEFT of the
jump.
---THE
FIRST LAP OF ANY PRACTICE ROUND IS A SITE LAP ONLY! Anyone caught
jumping on the site lap of a practice round will be penalized per
AMA rules.
---MVP
does not provide fuel for sale.
---MVP
does not provide dirt bikes or four-wheelers. Patrons must
bring their own bikes and equipment.
---MVP
does not provide riding instructions or riding instructors.
---If
you ride in the Small 4-Stroke class you can NOT ride a two stroke
bike in any other class.
---Open
4 Stroke riders (150cc max.) may ride a legal four stroke bike in
the Open 4 stroke class and also compete on a legal two-stroke bike
in other two stroke classes.
---PW50
is the only bike legal for 50cc Entry and 50cc (4-6 yrs).
---MVP
reserves the right to move riders up to the next advanced class.
---The
age of the rider as of Jan. 1, 2008 is the age class the rider
will race until Dec. 31, 2008.
---MVP
reserves the right to modify the rules and regulations governing
the park at any time.
